An Unforgettable Evening at Arnaud's Jazz Bistro, New Orleans
A Restaurant Review
Arnaud's is a great place to celebrate something special. It's upbeat and dressed up, so get dressed up and have some fun here!
Once before this evening, we visited New Orleans with a large group and had a wonderful dinner here. We new this would be our destination for our anniversary dinner as soon as we booked our trip returning to New Orleans.
French 75 Bar at Arnaud's
We had cocktails in the French 75 Bar before dinner. It's beautiful, dark and woodsy with glittering lights. It's very cozy in a business atmosphere kind of way. This is the kind of place you do want to get dressed for.
Dress Code:
Business Casual. Collared shirts are required for gentlemen.
Monkey lighting seems to be a very popular thing here in New Orleans!
Later we were seated in the Jazz Bistro and continued to have an amazing evening. The service is impeccable and the food is wonderful!
We especially enjoyed this crab claw appetizer.
Crab Claws Provencale: Peeled Louisiana Crab Claws simmered in Provence’s unique blend of butter, fresh garlic and parsley with a dash of Pernod.
A very nice dry sparkling pink wine!
The Gumbo Jazz Trio at Arnaud's Jazz Bistro
We enjoyed the trio in the jazz club so much on our first trip we were amazed and so happy to have them play for us again 3 years later.
And then we finished off our spectacular meal with The Bombe.
Chocolate Toffee Bombe: Cookie crisp topped with English toffee-chocolate mousse and ganache.
Thanks so much to everyone who made this such a special night for us. Next trip to New Orleans we're planning to stop in here and linger over Sunday Jazz Brunch!
Cheers!
