A Restaurant Review
Sunset Monalisa is a showstopper. The staff at this restaurant are really going out of their way to make sure everyone has a great time and then they actually put on a show as several of the items they serve are prepared table-side.
When we arrived we were seated in the most beautiful outdoor seating area and greeted by our server. We ordered cocktails and a few appetizers to start. Then some time later, the chef noticed that for some reason, our appetizers were taking longer than planned and so the kitchen sent out a few plates with some tasting items for us to nibble while waiting, compliments of the chef.
So thoughtful!
Every dish we had was very well prepared but the presentation of my dish of braised octopus with shaved fennel and carrots was out of this world. It was absolutely delicious. Click on the pictures below for more detail.

After dinner I ordered an Irish coffee which was also prepared table-side.
It was a beautiful night and a truly unforgettable meal. Thanks to all of our servers and the chef at Sunset Monalisa for a fabulous time. We hope to be back in Cabo to visit you again some time.
